Interior Design
With respect for and inspired by the work of Joris Ghekiere, the interior of his former private residence combines our minimalistic design with the colour scheme of his paintings and many unusual objects and artwork we found in his atelier.
We sustainably reused as many elements as possible from the former interior, which was mostly handmade by the artist.
For example: The kitchen counter is tailor made to the existing thrifted marble slabs and supported by an old table leg, extended with a wooden ball from a cabinet.
Art reproduction
To preserve the art of Joris Ghekiere we digitized some series of his paintings and drawings.
Exhibition project management
The atelier, where the artist has been working for over 20 years, has been repurposed after his death to an exhibition space where Vzw Atelier Tomorrow organizes regularly exhibitions and showcases.
We support Atelier Tomorrow* in the production and communication of each exhibition.
*Vzw Atelier Tomorrow was founded by Inge Henneman, Joris’s wife, to give young artists the opportunity to create and showcase their work.
